"I am committed to helping my patients return to optimum health as quickly as possible."

I moved to California from Japan at the age of six years old. When I started first grade, I did not speak English, but my parents taught me to work hard and be persistent. From my childhood, I always had the desire to become a doctor. I wanted to help people get well. The question was, what kind of doctor? After my wife injured her back, I decided to become a chiropractor. I saw first hand how much good chiropractic can do.

While I was attending chiropractic college, a friend told me about her mother who traveled about three hours to see her chiropractor, a NUCCA practitioner. Frankly, I had never heard of NUCCA and wasn't sure what it was. However, I was fascinated. Why would anyone travel that far, past dozens of chiropractors, to see a particular doctor? What I learned persuaded me to learn the technique myself.

In over 18 years of practice, I have found NUCCA to be successful in treating most spinal problems. It is extremely gentle, effective and safe for all patients, from children to patients in their nineties.

Children have always given me great pleasure. In fact, I met my wife, while on a playground where I was coaching after-school sports. We are now the parents of seven children and one grandchild. I have continued working with youth throughout the years, being involved in church, Boy Scouts of America, and in Rotary, where I served as Vocational Chairman working with a local high school. I have enjoyed coaching judo and wrestling and feel it is extremely important to be a positive role model, stressing the importance of health, education and the value of good work.

I enjoy treating the elderly so that they may more fully enjoy their "golden years". NUCCA is a way to gently care for their needs.
